Whether you've never danced before or simply want to feel confident and beautiful on your wedding day — Kerry will guide you every step of the way.
About Kerry
Kerry White has been dancing since childhood, training from her earliest years at the renowned Deborah Capon College in Whitstable before going on to graduate with a National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre from Laine Theatre Arts — one of the UK's most prestigious performing arts colleges.
Her professional career took her across the UK and to Holland as a featured dancer, and into the wings of major venues as a choreographer for First Family Entertainment — the UK's leading pantomime producer — working alongside stars including Barry Humphries, Stephen Mulhern, Anita Dobson and Sherrie Hewson.
For the last 13 years, Kerry has channelled that expertise into teaching and choreographing for students of all ages and abilities as Principal of Newcomb Theatre Arts. Now she brings that same passion, patience, and professional eye to couples preparing for the most important dance of their lives.

"If you have a passion to perform, I will do everything I can to help you achieve your vision."

Your Celebration, Your Way
Weddings are among the most deeply personal and culturally significant events in human life. They carry the weight of family heritage, religious faith, community tradition, and individual love stories — often all at once.
Kerry does not pretend to know every tradition. What she brings instead is something equally valuable: genuine empathy, a deep respect for what matters to you, and the professional skill to translate that into movement that feels true to who you are.

Kerry begins every conversation by listening — not assuming. Your cultural background, your family's expectations, your religious observances, and your personal story all shape what your wedding dance should be.
Where Kerry is unfamiliar with a tradition or custom, she researches carefully and asks the right questions. She approaches every cultural context with genuine curiosity and respect, not a one-size-fits-all template.
From the music you choose to the movements that feel right for your ceremony — Kerry designs choreography that honours what is sacred to you, whether that means modesty in movement, specific musical traditions, or particular ceremonial moments.
Wedding dances take many forms — first dances, parent dances, bridal party performances, group choreography for guests. Kerry can support any of these, tailored to the people involved and the cultural context they come from.
Whether your wedding is guided by Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Sikh, or any other faith tradition, Kerry works within the boundaries that matter to you — adapting movement, music choices, and the nature of physical contact to what is appropriate and meaningful for your ceremony.
Multi-day South Asian wedding celebrations often feature group performances, Sangeet evenings, and family dances that are as much about community as they are about the couple. Kerry approaches these with the enthusiasm and sensitivity they deserve, working closely with you to understand the tradition and create something that feels authentic.
When two different backgrounds, faiths, or cultural traditions come together in a single wedding, the dance can be a beautiful expression of that union. Kerry helps you find the choreographic language that honours both sides of your story.
Kerry's approach is inclusive by design. She works with all couples — regardless of gender, identity, or the shape of your relationship — to create a first dance that is entirely and authentically yours.
Not sure if Kerry can support your specific tradition? The first conversation is always free, and there's no question too sensitive to raise.

Questions & Answers
If your question isn't answered here, Kerry is always happy to chat — the first conversation is free and carries no obligation.
Not at all — in fact, most of Kerry's couples come to her with little or no dancing experience. Kerry's approach is built around your starting point, not a fixed standard. She'll design a choreography that feels natural and achievable for you both, and guide you through every step at your own pace. The goal is always confidence, not perfection.
Kerry recommends getting in touch at least three to four months before your wedding date. This gives enough time to complete a comfortable number of rehearsal sessions without feeling rushed. That said, she will always try to accommodate couples with shorter timelines — so don't hesitate to reach out even if your wedding is sooner than that.
This depends entirely on your starting point, your song, and the complexity of the choreography you'd like. Kerry's Full Choreography package includes five sessions, which is the most common choice. For simpler dances, three sessions is often enough. For larger group pieces (The Complete Experience), more sessions may be needed. Kerry will give you an honest assessment after your free consultation call.

The Complete Experience package is specifically designed for couples who want to involve the whole wedding party — bridesmaids, groomsmen, and beyond.
For an additional £300, Kerry will attend your wedding day in person to help you prepare. This includes a final run-through on the day, help with nerves and last-minute adjustments, and being there in your corner when the music starts. It's entirely optional — many couples feel fully prepared after their rehearsal sessions — but for those who want that extra reassurance, it can make a real difference.

Kerry understands that wedding planning is unpredictable. She'll always try to be as flexible as possible with rescheduling. Specific cancellation terms are discussed and agreed at the point of booking, and everything is kept as straightforward and fair as possible.
